Community fury is surging over the sentence handed down to a 17-year-old driver who dodged serving any jail time for a horrific crash which killed young and beloved local couple Lauren Quabba, 16, and Evan Fielder, 19 in October 2019. Ms Quabba s father Rodney spoke out after the Townsville boy s sentencing earlier this month to demand action and said the offender s three-month conditional release order flew in the face of logic.
