Kun Chen Japanese restaurant Katsu is to open in Glasgow later this month, after its launch was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. The 22-seater Katsu Glasgow will open on April 26 in the former City Patio location at 53 West Nile Street. The independent eaterie, , featuring an izikaya style of service, is owned by restaurant entrepreneur Kevin Campbell and head chef Kun Chen. The pair also own the Temaki Japanese restaurant on Hope Street. KATSU co-owner and Head chef Kun Chen said: Kun Chen said: Katsu Glasgow is unique. It’s casual, really fun, and we cater for diners who love Japanese food and flavours. We take the quality of our food seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.”
