The Board of Education got an earful during a recent public hearing about how a proposed increase in tax collections would impact Waterloo Community School District residents.

Approximately 35 people gathered in the Dr. Walter Cunningham School for Excellence library on Thursday, offering their input on the $165 million plan over 2 1/2 hours.
