Several major Reno hotel-casinos will no longer require vaccinated guests to wear masks indoors, citing new federal, state and local guidelines.
Representatives for the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Grand Sierra Resort, Caesars Entertainment and Peppermill Resort Spa Casino confirmed with the Reno Gazette Journal on Friday that guests who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will now be allowed to go mask-free inside their properties.
“Following yesterday’s announcement from Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and the Nevada Gaming Control Board, GSR guests may now follow the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) which advises that fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask or socially distance,” the Grand Sierra Resort said in a statement emailed to the RGJ.
