The Strongest of the Strong tells the remarkable true story of Katie Sandwina, a circus strongwoman who defied expectations and went on to help lead the U.S. suffrage movement in the early 1900s. Katie and her husband Max move from Austria to the U.S., where she joins Barnum and Bailey Circus, becomes a mother, and teams up with Marina, a young journalist, to fight for the voting rights of women.
After long consideration, Miller Outdoor Theatre emerged after having to cancel the entirety of its 2020 season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic; live music, dance and theater performances coming to the outdoor theatre space beginning May 1. Cinco de Mayo at Miller- Headlined by Cindy Shea, two-time Grammy Award trumpet player, all-female group Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea will provide a festive time for the entire family with a wide range of mariachi music aimed at introducing the audience to a staple of Latino culture.
