We have seen these airdrops starting to increase over gaza in the last two weeks also since the us air force got involved. It is still nowhere near meeting the huge need for humanitarian aid in gaza. The amount getting in by road is far less than it was when the war began and we are focusing today on New Routes Spicy too to try and braid in. This is something the european new routes to bring in aid by c. Similarly, the us is building a Temporary Port Of Gaza so ships can be unloaded but still no detail of how those supplies when they actually get to gaza will be secured and distributed throughout the strip. Its been loaded with around 200 tonnes of food and medical supplies. But, without a working port, its not clear yet where the ship will actually dock or how its cargo will be distributed inside gaza. 0ur middle east correspondent Quentin Somerville is in the Port City Of Larnaca in cyprus and sent us this report.
