TROY, N.Y. â In its description of the world premiere play, âA Deed Without a Name,ââ Troy Foundry Theater says about the piece, âIt is not a story with a sad feeling. This is not a story with a happy ending. This is a story.â
The play opens tonight, and runs Wednesdays to Sundays until May 30. It is written by Katie Pedo, who also wrote the Foundryâs last full-production, âModels of Perfection.â The work is offered outside in the alley next to The Trojan Hotel on 3rd Street, downtown Troy.
In a recent telephone interview, Emily Curro, Troy Foundryâs executive director, says that âA Deed Without A Nameâ could, in a general manner, be considered a sequel to the first piece.
