April’s non-partisan spring election didn’t include the chaos, and lengthy candidate roster, of April 2020’s contest. Nor did it draw the turnout of the November 2020 presidential election. But thousands of voters still headed to the polls, or voted absentee, in the annual spring election.
Here are the unofficial results for contested races that appeared on the ballot for city of Milwaukee voters. Data is from the Milwaukee County Election Commission.
MILWAUKEE
Katie Kegel’s campaign released the following statement on her victory in the Milwaukee County Circuit Court race for Branch 3:
“I want to thank the voters across Milwaukee County who put their trust in me to apply the law fairly and diligently, taking into account the unique circumstances of each case. I am grateful for my family, friends and supporters who were there for me through this entire process. I am also grateful and inspired by all the people I’ve met on the campaign trail who are already working tirelessly to bring change to Milwaukee County’s courtrooms.
