1of4Demolition of the Cardinal Stadium bleachers continues at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Conn. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020. The demolition of the old bleachers marks the start of “Phase 1A” of construction, which includes the demolition as well as the construction of the new bleachers on the home field side, a new press box that will have an elevator and new bathrooms, a new team room that will go undereneath the new bleachers, and other improvements. A RTM sense of the meeting resolution is calling for a building committee to be formed for the rest of the project but there are concerns that creating a committee could delay the project close to its completion.Photo: Tyler Sizemore / Hearst Connecticut Media
