The Provincial Government of Bohol was forced to put its foot down and stop a local resort from holding a two-day “foam party fashion show”.
Ordered to “cease and desist” from hosting the shindig was Amanzara Resort by virtue of a memorandum from the Capitol.
A photo of the one-page memo was posted on the Bohol Capitol’s Facebook page Friday night, March 12.
The document, signed by Provincial Administrator Kathyrin Pioquinto upon the authority of Gov. Arthur Yap, directed Panglao town Mayor Nila Montero to carry out the order on the resort. “Per IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) Omnibus Guidelines, only hotels or accommodation establishments with valid DOT (Department of Tourism) accreditation shall be allowed to accommodate guests and clients for legitimate purposes under a state of public health emergency,” the memo read.
