James Deegan Sr.
PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Through the grace of the Lord, Jim passed away on March 17, 2021, in Port Richey, Fla. A proud Irishman, it was fitting that Jim entered eternal life on Saint Patrick’s Day. Jim was the son of the late Marguerite Hope Deegan and Edward Deegan, and the oldest of their four sons.
Jim was married to Rose Carolyn Deegan for more than 37 years. For more than two decades, they called Port Richey their home. Florida was the perfect place for an avid lifelong golfer, and that was Jim. He loved the game and was quite accomplished. He made his last hole-in-one at the age of 76, and he was the envy of his fellow golfers.
