Grand Bay-Westfield lawyer Maggie Coffin Prowse’s painting “I see you” is one example of art submitted in HealthPro Canada’s #FacesofCanadianHealthcare artwork contest celebrating Canada’s health professionals.
“My brother Mark Coffin found the contest and he sent it to me,” said Prowse. “I had just finished a piece where I put a mask on – I don’t know what prompted me to do it, but I did and then he said, ‘You need to enter something into this contest!’”
People can vote for their favourite artwork on the contest website until May 31. The winner will be announced in June and be awarded $25,000 to be donated to a healthcare facility of their choice.
