Oceania Healthcare Ltd has announced the appointment of Kathryn Waugh to the role of chief financial officer and the appointment of Anna Thorburn to the role of group general counsel. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Waugh joined Oceania in 2009 as financial controller. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 2004 and previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior manager in the accounting consulting services team.
Thorburn joined Oceania in 2012. She has 18 years’ legal experience and previously worked as a senior solicitor in the corporate/commercial team at Russell McVeagh.

Both Waugh and Thorburn have been heavily involved in Oceania’s corporate transactions over the past five years, including the IPO in 2017, the corporate bond in 2020, and the recent capital raise and acquisition of Waterford on Hobsonville Point.
