The Laurelwood Garden Club and the Fitchburg Art Museum, with sponsorship from Fitchburg State University, will open the 25th Art in Bloom event on Thursday, April 27, through Sunday April 30, at the Fitchburg Art Museum, 185 Elm St.

FITCHBURG The Laurelwood Garden Club, at its Annual Meeting held June 11 in the courtyard at the Fitchburg Art Museum, elected the following officers for the 2021-22 year: Kathryn Nowosielski of Leominster, president; Deb Vilandry, vice president, of Lancaster; Lucille Cormier of Fitchburg as secretary; Tisha Schiavitti of Leominster as treasurer; Claire Lavin of Ashby as assistant treasurer, and Mary Ed Caine of Leominster, corresponding secretary.
Annual reports were given by Kathleen McGuigan for Scholarship, Jessie Olson for 2021 Art in Bloom, Tisha Schiavitti for Treasurer, Julie Palioca for Public Relations/Publicity, Beautification/Julia Casey Memorial Garden, and Mary Dunn and Doris Durrin for Nominations and Elections.
