Kathleen Tieri Ton of Batavia High School was recently honored as the 2023 Secondary Art Educator of the Year through the Illinois Arts Education Association.

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce is holding a community flag design contest that is open to all Batavians. The contest will engage the citizens to design a flag that represents their love for Batavia.
