Near the busy roads theyll spend the weekend protecting, law enforcers line up for a friday evening roll call. Theyre kicking off the southeast wisconsin owi task forces Labor Day Weekend effort. Its the opening of College Football this weekend the badgers game is on saturday afternoon. Lots of home parties going on and we want to make sure that people either stay home or they drive home safely with some type of designated driver program. Thirty v the task force. And lt. Gary gabrish says theyre very effective since last october, not including regular patrols, the task force alone has made 230 operating while impaired arrests. Its going to cause tough travel early in the morning. Tonight partial clearing and refreezing on untreated surfaces, but also some of the areas that got the initial treatment, its either going to be too diluted or maybe got washed away during the snow melt that we had during the day today.
