Coronavirus Update
New York state reaches milestone: Half of all New Yorkers have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine dose, a major milestone in the state’s fight against the novel coronavirus. Nearly 10 million New Yorkers, or 50% of all state residents, have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, and 8.3 million people, or nearly 42% of all state residents, have completed their two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine series or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office said Sunday.
