SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A joint letter from four local organizations to the South Lake Tahoe City Council and city management was sent Monday, stating concern about the possibility under discussion of more taxes, including a possible tax on empty homes and buildings and a raise on Tourist Occupancy Tax (TOT).

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. On Tuesday evening, South Lake Tahoe City Council voted to sign a five-year lease agreement for city offices, discussed possible sources to fund housing initiatives, and voted to financially support.
The next meeting of the South Lake Tahoe Tourism Improvement District (SLTTID) will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. It will be held both in-person at the LTVA Conference Room, 169 Highway 50, Stateline, and via Zoom. It will serve as a "Meet the Candidates Forum" for openings on the SLTTID board.
