May 5, 2021 Texas is a really robust state when it comes to tourism and how it affects the economic drivers in the state. Cities including Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio/Austin were doing very very well before the Covid lockdown last year. Texas Tourism declined more than 31.% last year. Frankford says things are already looking up in Texas - much more than in still locked down states. Conventions and Professional Sports back in cities and State Parks, Beach Towns, rural towns with Hiking Trails are seeing more of bookings already.
