Schill Grounds Management acquires commercial division of The Ohio Valley Group

Schill Grounds Management, a private equity-backed commercial landscaper based in North Ridgeville, has acquired the commercial division of The Ohio Valley Group of Chagrin Falls.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal brings in all Ohio Valley Group commercial, retail and mixed-use accounts to Schill, equipment and a dozen employees. This leaves Ohio Valley Group with its residential accounts and time to focus on other entrepreneurial endeavors, according to a deal announcement.
The combination ultimately expands Schill s services east of Cleveland.

BrightView acquires Green Image in Las Vegas
The company also recently revealed its first-quarter numbers.
BLUE BELL, Pa. – BrightView Holdings has acquired Green Image based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Zeman joins Peerless Gear
Paul Bechwar, president of Peerless Gear, LLC announced that Larry Zeman has joined Peerless Gear as the account manager for select large OEM accounts. Zeman will also be representing Peerless Gear’s sister company Comet Clutch, exploring opportunities with those products.
Zeman was previously employed by TecumsehPower/Peerless Gear and most recently as VP of Sales for LCT Engines. His background in the outdoor power equipment industry provides him with a unique perspective on the outdoor power market.

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio – Schill Grounds Management has purchased the commercial division of The Ohio Valley Group in a carve-out acquisition that expands Schill’s service area to the east side of Cleveland.
Schill will take over all of The Ohio Valley Group’s commercial customer accounts for office, retail, mixed-use and industrial properties, while the owners of the family-run business will continue to serve residential accounts and focus more of their time on other entrepreneurial endeavors. About a dozen employees of The Ohio Valley Group will join the Schill family, and Schill will gain equipment and use of a portion of their existing facilities and office space.
