Bexar County officials said Gov. Greg Abbott’s allegations of sexual assault and mistreatment of immigrant juveniles at the Freeman Coliseum are not true.
Abbott, who opposes President Joe Biden’s immigration policies, made the claims in a hastily arranged afternoon trip to San Antonio from Austin earlier this month.
