Weddings usually reflect the couples getting married, but the coronavirus pandemic shifted the scope on a lot of planned ceremonies and receptions. Some were cancelled or postponed for future dates, and some went on in other fashions. Here are some Capital Region wedding stories from this past year.
What was originally supposed to be a 190+ person event was paired down to just a (lucky) thirteen immediate family members and our two dogs. On June 6, 2020, everything in the world was still so uncertain other than the fact that for the past two years we knew this was going to be the day we finally tied the knot. Family got ordained, became our glam squad, stood in as flower women (our moms) / ring bearers (our brothers) and showed us that true love really does conquer all.
