Non-profit SBCS will shut the facility for good on Thursday - reflecting the bleak picture across the country as the numbers of asylum seekers coming to the US remain sky-high.
SBCS, formerly known as South Bay Community Services, has been running the center in San Diego since October of last year and confirmed this with ABC 10News on Friday.
