Missing about 1 05 this morning. The federal Aviation Administration says it believes there were four people on board. Reports indicate there was a pilot, a patient, a nurse, and a paramedic on board. The life flight pilot indicated due to smoke in the cockpit, he was going to return to the airport. But, contact with the plane was lost about five miles northeast. Very close to where the plane was found. Smoke in the cockpit is a serious danger because smoke can be highly toxic and it obliterates the pilots ability to see the instruments which could result in a crash. The Sheriffs Office is coordinating the search along with the chp. This crash did create a bit of a vegetation fire which cal fire is on. And, the bottom line is of the four people, the fate of only two is known. They are dead. The other two im sure they are still looking for and they are inspecting the fuselage.
