Bloody knife found in friend’s car after man stabbed in Beaverton, deputies say

An early morning visit from a friend took a violent turn Thursday for a Beaverton man, after a stranger interrupted the visit and demanded the man’s wallet at knifepoint, authorities said.
After the man said he did not have one, the stranger stabbed the man repeatedly, Washington County deputies said in a statement. The agency said the wounded man is recovering after he was briefly hospitalized.
Investigators gathered surveillance footage and an eyewitness account from the man’s friend, who was unharmed, according to the sheriff’s office.
