CCS appoints principal for Cathedral Middle School

Times staff report ST. CLOUD  Catholic Community Schools has selected a principal who will lead Cathedral Middle School when it expands to include 6th grade students in the fall of 2022. Erin Hatlestad, currently principal of St. Katherine Drexel School in St. Cloud, will become the first principal of the middle school and oversee grades 6-8, Catholic Community Schools announced Wednesday. She has served 10 years at St. Katherine Drexel, and was principal of Sacred Heart School in Sauk Rapids for 13 years, according to the announcement. Hatlestad will begin her new position in June as the middle school moves into the south building on the Cathedral campus, according to the announcement.
