My mom was a teacher in the new York Public Schools. When she retired from being a teacher in the new York Public Schools and taught prisoners at the brooklyn house of detention. She was someone that defines her with service to other people and trying to give young kids a chance to get ahead in the world. My dad was somebody who was the first generation in his family to go to college. My grandfather was a plumber. They were people who thought that
