Four Mexico wrestlers took part in the Eldon Girls Wrestling Invitational on Wednesday and three came away with medals.
Abbigail Drew had the most successful day. After losing her opening round match in the 127 weight class to Jazmin Garrett of Monett by major decision, she swept the next two encounters.
Drew dropped Chelsea Campapiano of Camdenton at 5:29 to earn a fall. She then took down Marshfield’s Rylee Wilson at the 1:31 mark.
