A NEW pharmacy vaccination hub will open this week to join in the fight against Covid-19. The newest addition in the vaccine roll out in Pennine Lancashire is the Hyndburn Community Voluntary and Resource Centre in Accrington which started distributing the jab on Thursday (February 4). Manager of the centre, Matthew Dobson said: On behalf of everyone who has worked at the centre to make this possible, we are very happy to be housing the Covid-19 vaccine and vaccinating the people of Accrington. Working with Nural Islam from Peel Street Pharmacy, the centre administered over 200 vaccines on their first day. Other sites that have opened across the county include Edge Hill University in Ormskirk and previously announced Everest Pharmacy in Darwen will also be accepting patients for vaccine delivery.
