ECM Laser Tattoo Removal
Kate Sheehan
Kate Sheehan has a passion for tattoos. She has them all over her body and adds to them regularly – around one new tattoo a month.
At the same time, she is conscious that sometimes there are tattoos that are no longer wanted.
Common examples include ex partners names, rebellious art from back in the teens or tattoos that just didn’t turn out how they were imagined.
“I’ve had a couple of tattoos myself that I came to dislike because they reminded me of certain times in my life that I did not enjoy, so I had them removed,” Kate says.

Donations make special wishes come true for cancer warriors

SHELBY TOWNSHIP Donations being made to a special foundation are making wishes possible for local cancer warriors to give them a reason to celebrate and forget about cancer for a while.
Nik’s Wish, the Nikolas Ritschel Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) charity based in Rockford, Illinois. Its mission is to bring joy throughout the nation to young adults who are between the ages of 18 and 24 and fighting cancer by granting wishes to them. Joshua Pieters, 25, of Shelby Township, is one of the people who Nik’s Wish serves, because they are a little too old for other wish-granting programs.
Wicked Local
PLYMOUTH – Local veterans honored Mayflower II’s World War II roots last week as Plimoth Patuxet Museums (formerly Plimoth Plantation) opened for the new season.
Veterans who donated service medals and memorabilia to the ship’s new bronze bell took turns ringing it Saturday morning aboard the replica of the ship that carried the Pilgrims from England in 1620.
“There is a common bond between veterans and the Pilgrims in that the men and women of our military take an oath and do not know where they will serve or what dangers they may face in the name of freedom,” Denis Russell, commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1822, said before giving the bell a clang.
