Colac Otway Shire Chief Executive Advises of Resignation
Colac Otway Shire Council Chief Executive Peter Brown has advised Councillors of his intention to resign after three years in the position.
Mayor Cr Kate Hanson said Council had accepted Mr Brown’s resignation and offer to remain CEO until July, providing Colac Otway with time to find an appropriate person to lead the organisation into the future.
“I would like to thank Mr Brown for the experience and knowledge he has brought to Colac Otway Shire, which has been particularly valuable during the past 12 months.
“Under Mr Brown’s leadership, Colac Otway has continued to deliver Council services and major projects, advocate for funding, and manage a community-focused response and recovery to the COVID19 pandemic.
