Grand Forks jail may get vaccines in a month, but distribution poses challenge

People incarcerated in the Grand Forks County Correctional Center could begin to receive the vaccine in as little as four weeks.
That means jail staff and Grand Forks Public Health are grappling with the same challenge jails across the country are now facing: In the roughly three weeks between receiving the first and second shots, about 70 new people will have been brought into the jail, and dozens more will have been released.
