The district has since dropped its investigation and, as part of the Nov. 30 agreement, will allow Thompson to resign in good standing with a letter of reference. Thompson will return to work in the district on Jan. 4 and recently was informed by Superintendent Cynthia Ritchie that he will be working remotely, performing assessment and curriculum work in the adult education department.
