In the interest of safety during the global pandemic, students and faculty alike at the Crestwood School District have remained virtual for the first half of the school year. But change is on the horizon for the Comets, with a new plan going into effect in the third quarter of the academic school year, with the intention of slowly, and safely, bringing students back to in person schooling. In what Crestwood administration is calling a âphased reopening plan,â students would go back to school in groups based on grade level and required assistance.
The first phase of Crestwoodâs conscious reopening begins on Feb. 8, with low incidence disability students returning first. This will include life skills and autistic support students, who will be closely followed by Elementary Learning Support students on Feb. 17.
