The subject matter covered by the selected titles is very wide-ranging, with projects based on bestselling books and a live-action sentimental comedy for children with puppets, a colourful adventure film inspired by the extraordinary life of the explorer Alexander Laime, who spent an incredible time together with his family in the Venezuelan jungle in the 1950s, or a musical set in Yugoslavia after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, through to an animated series looking at climate change, diversity and an inclusive and conscious society, a humorous preschool series on how to deal with your emotions, and a documentary on puberty.

The Kids Kino Industry Talks return with a focus on streaming platforms

In 2021, Kids Kino Industry (KKI) is organising a series of monthly Industry Talks that are an extension of the weekly Inspirational Webinars which ran last year. As in previous editions, the aim is to create a meeting place for European professionals where they can exchange their ideas and experiences, and further develop new content for children.
For the first KKI Talk of the year, which runs on 25 January from 3 pm-4 pm CET, the topic is “Unravel Streamers – What Producers Need to Know”, and it will be available on Zoom for registered users only (click here to register).
