A teenager accused of shooting and killing his sister-in-law and two young nephews in 2022 appeared in court Thursday as his lawyers sought to get some evidence tossed out.
Public defenders told a judge Thursday that they believe their then-16-year-old client was illegally detained for more than five hours after the killings of his sister-in-law and two young nephews.
