Updated: 4:26 PM CDT May 7, 2021 KOCO Staff A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 1-year-old child back in 2020 in Sayre.According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Taylor Lambert was arrested on Friday. Online court records show Lambert has been charged with one count of first-degree murder – child abuse. According to the OSBI, on Nov. 14, Sayre police requested OSBI agents’ assistance in an investigation into the suspicious death of 1-year-old Kashton Ashley, who died on that day. Autopsy results showed the child’s death was the result of a homicide. Lambert was the boyfriend of Kashton’s mother at the time of his death, according to the OSBI.A felony arrest warrant was issued Friday for Lambert on one count of first-degree murder – child abuse.
