PAGD To Meet Today, Dr Farooq Abdullah To Head The Meet
SRINAGAR: In a major development, the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration has resurfaced and is slated to meet later today at Vice President Mehbooba Mufti’s Fairview residence.
Sources privy to the development told Kashmir Life that the meeting is an outcome of a phone call from PAGD President Dr Farooq Abdullah to PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti.
“Dr Farooq Abdullah called her up to schedule a meeting of the PAGD which she accepted,” a senior leader said adding that all the PAGD constituent parties have been called for the meeting.

Shamim Ahmed Shamim was one of Kashmir’s prominent journalist editors who was later in politics and was elected to the state assembly and the parliament. He edited Aina newspaper that was known for his satire and critique of contemporary Kashmir and politics. This earned him more friends than foes.
