ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi saw the highest number of Covid-19 cases reported in a single day since the outbreak of the pandemic as 403 people were found infected by the virus on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Islamabad witnessed a decline in the number of cases, with 508 people testing positive. Five patients lost their battle against the virus while 12 were discharged after recovering during the last 24 hours.
Officials of the capital administration said during the last 24 hours, 5,493 tests were conducted out of which results of 260 males and 248 females came back positive.
