Again and again and again we are seeing these Democrats ‘do as I say, not as I do’ mentality.
While Contra Costa County District Attorney Diana Becton was enforcing lockdown orders, she held a backyard wedding at her home.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Becton reportedly held the gathering, which consisted of dozens of attendees back in August.
The Chronicle reports that the event hosted 25 to 30 people with neighbors saying the party last late into the night. At the time of the party, coronavirus-related restrictions didn’t allow multiple households to gather in the same space.
Supervisor Candace Andersen pointed out that at the time Becton hosted the backyard wedding, she formed a COVID-19 enforcement task force to crack down on people and businesses breaking safety protocol.

A Democratic public official in California is facing criticism for potentially violating the state’s coronavirus restrictions by hosting a wedding in her backyard.

Becton says the event adhered to state and county regulations, which permitted outdoor religious and cultural events, including weddings, but prohibited receptions, after-parties, and any parties that bring people from multiple households together.
