Police in Ganjam district have detained three persons under the National Security Act (NSA) ahead of the twin elections for the Lok Sabha and state Assembly in Berhampur. The detainees are accused of heinous crimes and their detention is to prevent any disturbances during the elections and for maintenance of public order.
