TechnipFMC wins first iEPCI contract offshore Brazil June 3, 2021, by Nadja Skopljak
TechnipFMC has won its first integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI) contract in Brazil by Karoon Energy for the Patola field.
The contract covers engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea trees, flexible pipes and umbilicals.
The project will take place at water depths of 300 meters and will tie back to the existing Baúna floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel Cidade de Itajaí.
Delivery and installation of the equipment are scheduled for the second half of 2022, with first oil production targeted for the first quarter of 2023.
