The KSRSA’s primary objective was to reduce accidents and mortality rates by 25 per cent and 30 per cent, respectively, by 2020. Currently, the authority includes various departments such as police, transport, education, health, public works, panchayat raj, and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), working together to ensure road safety for commuters.
