Members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Praveen Kumar Shetty faction) have warned of action on boards that do not showcase Kannada letters. The boards of commercial establishments in Karnataka should have 60% Kannada and 40% other language letters. If any establishment violates this rule, the Vedike will start a campaign to remove such non-Kannada boards. They have also drawn attention to making Hubballi-Dharwad free from plastic.
