Karnataka will be going under lockdown for 14 days from Tuesday Night at 9 pm. The time period for essential services will be from 6 am to 10 am. The Karnataka government led by BS Yediyurappa took the decision regarding lockdown-like curbs amid the rising cases in the state.
BS Yediyurappa also announced that after 10 am all shops will close. Only construction, manufacturing & agriculture sectors will be allowed. Public transport will also remain shut.

In an apparent effort to curb the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 cases in Karnataka, the state government on Monday (April 26) announced strict restrictions for the next 14 days, starting from 9 pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa addressed a press conference after a cabinet meeting to announce the fresh curbs. It is to be noted that Karnataka on Sunday recorded 29,438 new cases. Curfew will be in place as we have seen on weekends. No public transport will be allowed, CM Yediyurappa announced on Monday.
