Virus forces Karnataka govt to reduce syllabus by 30 pc for SSLC, PUC II students News Network January 7, 2021 Bengaluru, Jan 7: Karnataka Minister for Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar on Thursday said that as per the subject experts and department officials recommendation, the syllabus will be reduced by 30 per cent to SSLC and Final year PU classes. Speaking to newsmen here, he said that the examination dates will be in May second week for PU II and SSLC examinations in June first week. He said he had toured across the State and wherever he visited the teachers and students only one question when the examinations starts, the department had given enough time for the preparations for the examinations and in order to reduce the burden the syllabus decided. A decision was taken after elaborate discussion with the department and experts, he added.
