In order to contain the unprecedented surge in coronavirus cases, the Karnataka government today imposed a curfew for a period of 14 days starting from Tuesday (April 27) 9pm. During the lockdown-like curbs, the time period for essential services has been limited to 6 am to 10 am. The administration has also announced free COVID-19 vaccination for all adults.
The curfew blueprint:
- All manufacturing units except garment factories, agricultural production and auxiliary units, medical supplies production units and in-situ construction activities will be exempted from the curfew.
- All essential shops to be open from 6 am to 10 am. After 10 am shops will close.
