After a crowd had gathered at the memorial for Sylville Smith. Deandra corinthios is live near sherman park with the latest this all happened in the area of 44th and auer. The intersection where Sylville Smith was shot and killed by a Milwaukee Police officer earlier this month. Mpd says there was a crowd of about 3040 people. They arrested 10 resisting an officer. On tuesday night Milwaukee Police say they started getting complaints about crowds gathering in the area from neighbors. Around 8 pm. Police asked the crowds to disperse. When they say officers observed violations of the law. 20 minutes later police say they asked the crowd to leave again. Some did. But other refused. That is when police started making arrests. Fox6 has confirmed that state representative Jonathan Brostoff was in the area last night.
