GREAT FALLS â After a short safety briefing inside the Holman Aviation building at the Great Falls International Airport on Tuesday, eight teachers made their way outside to a waiting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter for a ride around the area.
The hour-long flight was conducted by the Montana National Guard to show appreciation for teachers. I think it s super exciting, knowing this is a career opportunity and pathway for our students. It s a great way for us to collaborate with the military and learn more about it. Then, we can take that excitement back to our classrooms and share it with kids,â said Yenta Jacques, a teacher at Paris Gibson Education Center in Great Falls.

Littlejohn to be guest speaker at special Quinn church service
STEUBENVILLE Quinn Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church, 515 N. Fifth St., will wrap up its observance of Black History Month on Sunday with Jonathan Littlejohn as the finale in a series of special speakers for the church’s 11 a.m. Livestream Online or Zoom service.
A graduate of Steubenville High School, Littlejohn is the son of Vickie Littlejohn, a retired educator, and Edward Sr., a real estate developer. As Jonathan learned the business ethics of his family, he always wanted to become a businessman and open his own business, a church committee member explained.
