Mr. McIntosh died April 5, 2021, at his home surrounded by his close friends. He was born on Nov. 5, 1931, to the late Taylor and Lona Ball McIntosh in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined the United States Army and served for 30 years before retiring in 1977. While stationed in Germany, he met the love of his life, Christine Trautman, on a bus and they married on Aug. 23, 1957, in Germany. Together they served many duty stations all over the world. After Mac’s retirement, he worked for 18 years as a Civil Service employee and after his second retirement, he enjoyed teaching auto mechanics at Central Texas College.
